Tavern: History written by Sabaton

The complete discography of Sabaton is supposed to appear on my blog soon. But I imagined a kind of big scale project - cycle of notes, that will make my readers listen almost every Sabaton's work in a slightly different perspective, than usual. Nearly each of their songs is inspired (more or less) by a historical event. So I want to present their songs in the exact anniversaries of events they are about. For example at the tenth of July there will be note presenting
The Battle of Britain with a suitable piece of music (Aces in Exile). It is the cycle for whole year (so it is really long term project), which means a lot of fun :)!. It will be a kind of breach from the canon, that pieces are strongly connected to the discography.

I will present history of the event (reaching from ancient Greece to nearest history) and add really great music so we can feel like in the middle of the battlefield, sinister conference of Third Reich or like great hero of the first world war.

This cycle is semi-opened (opened cycles have unlimited number of notes, closed one have precisely specified from above number of notes). Semi openness of this cycle means that there are actually 40 notes to be published, but this amount can increase, as Sabaton may release new albums in the future (this cycle includes materials from Fist for Fight to Carolus Rex).

Whole cycle is made by:

  • I will post all notes here once they appear

And well, hope you enjoy :)

P.S. Stay tuned!
